This Diwali

“In the festival of Diwali, all of us wear new clothes, we burst firecrackers, and spread happiness.” There’s not a single person in our India who did not use this line while writing an essay on the festival Diwali. Now I’m old enough to understand a few things, I just realized that the people who have all the utilities are only consider in the category of "ALL"

Because, The one who sells us diya to lighten up our home, to remove the darkness, still have their homes only full of supreme darkness or have a single diya to lighten up their complete house. The one who makes sure that others can enjoy the taste of hospitality and Chakli, then why the one hasn’t enjoyed a single spice of it. The one who prepares the sweet to accumulate sweetness in others’ life, then why the sweetness in their life is diminishing? The broom which we keep for sweeping away the sadness and bring the light of hope, then why the cleaners are despondency and are despair?

The things we buy are all their,  then why we are hesitating to be grateful, and share the things which they have shared with us. We always give them leftover snacks, that’s rude. We can give them as a gift or if one cannot do that, simply wish them with our traditional style, their smiles will only show satisfactory reactions, and eyes filled with tears will see a ray of hope. Lighting a single diya has a big meaning in our life. We usually never light – up a diya in the day-time because we all have sufficient light and in the evening during dark, there is the need for light. During Diwali we always give these snacks n sweets to our relatives which they already have, it seems like we are lighting a diya in the availability of light. But where there is need of it we never think to light-up in the darkness for deserving people. We are forgetting the exact meaning of diya in the darkness.

This Diwali, Let’s celebrate to shrink the darkness in our life as well as bring a light of hope and faith in others’ life. Let’s try to have a Happy Diwali for all of us together.

                           Happy Diwali...

People always bargain with poor ones and they never do the same thing with well known hotels and branded shops.
